Cameron Chapter breaks ground on $4.8 million chapter house

CAMERON, Ariz.

Cameron Chapter officials and community members broke ground June 17 on a new chapter house, the project they carried forward after their old facility was condemned and torn down.

The chapter secured the money through Navajo Nation Council legislation. Delegate Casey Allen Johnson sponsored Legislation No. 0039-24, which the Council approved unanimously on April 23, 2024, allocating $4.8 million from the Sihasin Fund. The chapter is contributing $80,000 in matching funds.
