A former Buu Nygren staffer has filed a sexual harassment complaint against Vice President Richelle Montoya

The sexual assault and harassment crisis in the president’s office has captured the attention of three Navajo chapters, resulting in a resolution asking the Council to address it with an investigation that would put Buu Nygren and a few others on administrative leave.

The legislative counsel office received a request to draft legislation to initiate an independent investigation into President Buu Nygren’s women staffers’ sexual harassment and mistreatment allegations.

Vice President Richelle Montoya alleges she was sexually harassed during a meeting last August.
