
GANADO, Ariz. – The Navajo Department of Health, through the Navajo Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Program, is encouraging women across the Navajo Nation to prioritize their health during National Women’s Health Week by participating in the following Mobile Mammography Screenings:
• May 18: Ganado
• May 19: Piñon
• May 20: Winslow
• May 28: Crownpoint
Women, ages 40-74, are encouraged to receive a screening mammogram every year. Women, ages 21-29, should complete a Pap test every three years, while women, ages 30-65, are encouraged to complete either an HPV Test every five years or a Pap Test every three years.
