Missing 8-year-old girl may be headed toward Gallup

The Navajo Police Department issued a Missing and Endangered Person Advisory for 8-year-old Alissandra Begay, who was last seen Friday afternoon in Lukachukai, Ariz., and may be traveling toward Gallup.

The Navajo Police Department has issued a Missing and Endangered Person Advisory for Alissandra Begay, an 8-year-old girl who was last seen Friday afternoon in Lukachukai and may be traveling toward Gallup.
According to the advisory, Alissandra Begay was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday, June 12, in Lukachukai, according to Navajo police. Authorities reported she was picked up by an unknown young female described as short with shoulder-length hair.
The female was accompanied by a young male child described as thin with short hair. The three are believed to be traveling in a white four-door sedan or hatchback and may be headed toward Gallup.
Alissandra is 4 feet tall and weighs about 90 pounds. She has brown eyes and black waist-length hair.
She was last seen wearing a light blue long-sleeve shirt, a white shirt and purple leggings with pink flowers, according to the advisory.
The Navajo Police Department reported that Alissandra has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
Anyone who has seen Alissandra Begay or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Navajo Police Department Chinle District at 928-674-2111 or 928-674-2112.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance.
