A photo of President Ben Shelly and Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder has gone viral.
Fox Sports cameras caught Ben and Martha Shelly wearing Redskins hats and sitting next to Snyder in a private suite during the Redskins vs. Cardinals game Sunday in Glendale, Ariz.
Shelly, who was Snyder’s guest at the game, was among a crowd of Navajo fans who accepted free tickets and other swag.
Snyder reportedly paid for busloads of Native fans to travel from as far away as Red Mesa High School, which shares the Washington team’s mascot, in his public quest to convince America that the term “redskins” is not racist.
