A 1-2-3 double play staved off a bases-loaded threat for the Winslow softball team on Tuesday afternoon.

It was a long road for many baseball teams to travel with the added obstacles caused by the COVID-19 pandemics, but despite it all, the Chinle Wildcats won the 3A North Tournament held in Chinle last Saturday.

The best the Piedra Vista softball team can do is finish as the reserve champions in District 2-5A.

The Alchesay softball team traveled to Kayenta to dual Monument Valley High last Friday.

On Saturday, the Window Rock Lady Scouts traveled to top-ranked Page to face their softball rivals. On that day, the Lady Sand Devils wore pink uniforms for cancer awareness and to honor those afflicted by it in their community.
