In a pair of much-needed 2A North Region wins, the Piñon baseball team survived an early scare from Many Farms on Friday afternoon.

The Hózhó Academy baseball team may be young, both in program and roster, but they’re making big noise in the New Mexico Class 2A division.

The Page Sand Devils came out swinging in both games of Monday’s doubleheader, shutting out the Fighting Scouts 10-0 in Game 1 and holding off a late rally to win 10-6 in Game 2, completing a road sweep over Window Rock.

The Bloomfield Lady Bobcats carefully clawed their way to a 10-8 win over the Miyamura Lady Patriots on Saturday afternoon, securing their second consecutive victory since snapping a three-game losing streak the week prior.

This was much-needed win for the Monument Valley Mustang softball team.
