The 33rd Annual Wild Thing Championship Bullriding will have five returning champions competing at this year’s event.
The bull riding bonanza starts Friday and ends on Saturday at Red Rock Park with the show starting at 8 p.m. on both nights.
“We’ve got some really good bull riders coming both nights,” Wild Thing promoter Larry Peterson said. “Our Friday night show is going to be almost as strong as Saturday. I mean, we got five returning Wild Thing champions coming back.
“We got the top Diné riders coming, we got some guys out of Texas, guys from up north from the Dakotas and Wyoming,” he added. “We got a couple of bull riders from North Carolina. We got a strong group coming, and it’s going to be really exciting.”
The top hands from the professional and amateur ranks will take on the best bulls from 4B Bucking Bulls, Owen Washburn and Flying S.
