The city’s wastewater treatment plant has received a bronze-level award from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality’s Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program after a review of its compliance record, according to a city news release.
The award formally recognizes the city doing business as Page Utility Enterprise Wastewater Treatment Plant. The plant is operated by Page Utility Enterprise and treats wastewater from Page, Wahweap and Greenehaven.
The bronze level is available to regulated facilities with no violations on record within the past three years. ADEQ issued the certificate April 15, 2026. The recognition is renewed every three years after another compliance review.
