FORT DEFIANCE – The BIA Fire Management, Navajo Region, has changed to the Department of Interior United States Wildland Fire Service, Fire Management, Navajo Region. The current fire danger level is moderate. Be cautious of any type of debris or cooking fires and extinguish with water when complete. Do not burn trash. For debris, cultural, or ceremonial burn registrations, call Navajo Nation EPA at 928-729-4246. To report a wildfire, call Navajo Region Fire at 928-205-3459.
