‘Summer Showcase’ art reception

CORTEZ, Colo. – The art of Ginny Getts and Teri Shecter are featured in the show “Summer Showcase.” Both artists paint with oils, watercolors, and a variety of media to create images from nature and their surroundings. A reception is scheduled Friday, Aug. 21, at the Gallery at St. Barnabas Church (110 W. North St.) from 5-7 p.m. Light refreshments served. Art can be viewed from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, at the church’s gallery.
