Tarrell M. Allison
TOHATCHI, N.M. — Funeral services for Tarrell Michael Allison, 26, of Tohatchi, New Mexico, will be held today, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tohatchi, with Father Dale Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at the Tohatchi community cemetery.
Tarrell was born May 31, 1996, in Gallup, into the Tódích’íi’nii (Bitter Water Clan), born for ‘Áshįįhí (Salt People Clan). He passed away Aug. 18, 2022, in Flagstaff.
Tarrell graduated from Gallup Central High School in 2015 and was employed with Sonic. He was active in sports, loved gaming and enjoyed family time.
Tarrell is survived by his mother, Elaine Allison of Tohatchi.
Tarrell is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Edward Allison.
Pallbearers will be Darnell Dale, Darnell Foster, Steve Thomas, Kendrick Reed, Dorian Allison, and LeAdrian Billy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Denetdale, Lyle Allison, Dwight Allison, Earlando Allison, Elmer Allison, and Edison Jones.
A reception will take place at the Allison residence (House No. 24, Red Willow Circle) in Tohatchi, following services.

Darlene B. Lee
WINDOW ROCK — Funeral services for Darlene B. Lee, 80, were held Aug. 23 at the Window Rock Methodist Church with Merwin Yazzie officiating. Interment followed in St. Michaels, Arizona.
Darlene was born into the Honágháahnii (One-walks-around Clan), born for ‘Áshįįhí (Salt People Clan). She passed away Aug. 16, 2022, in Gallup.
Darlene attended St. Michaels Indian School and Northland Pioneer College. She was a lifelong Navajo Nation employee. Her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys and she was an avid sports fan.
Darlene is survived by her sons, Brian Lee and Gerald Lee; daughter, Delora Clifford; brother, Robert M. Brown; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Kee Brown; and grandparents, Mae and Ned Catron.
Pallbearers were Robert M. Brown, Kyle Felter, Gerald Lee, Brian Lee, Jeff Clifford, and Darrell Yazzie.
Summit Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Herbert Manygoats
HOLBROOK, Ariz. — Funeral services for Herbert Manygoats, 87, of Indian Wells, Arizona, will be held Monday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m., at the Owens Livingston Mortuary Holbrook Chapel (409 First Avenue) in Holbrook, Arizona.
Herbert passed away Aug. 20, 2022.
Viewing takes place one hour prior to service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery.
