The St. Michael softball team struggled at the start of the 2024 season.

The Page Lady Sand Devils posted a pair of shutout wins, by identical 10-0 scores, on Saturday to claim this year’s 3A North Region softball tournament.

In a battle for the district’s overall top seed, the Gallup softball team prevailed with a tough 3-1 win over Aztec on Thursday night.

The one-day Hopi Baseball Invite allotted teams such as Greyhills Academy, Piñon and Red Mesa to work on their games.

The Sanders Valley baseball team came into the Hopi Invite shorthanded.
