Loren Anthony said he has learned to be ready when opportunity comes.
Anthony, a Diné actor with more than 50 film credits, appeared as Jim Kane in the first episode of “Marshals,” a CBS series tied to the “Yellowstone” franchise. The series also includes Mo Brings Plenty, Gil Birmingham and Tatanka Means as season regulars.
The series stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, a former U.S. Navy SEAL who joins a U.S. Marshals unit in Montana after leaving the Yellowstone Ranch.
“Jim Kane deep down is a loyal family man who loves his wife and daughter,” Anthony said.
Anthony said the reach of the “Yellowstone” franchise has been different from his earlier film work.
“I knew my involvement with the Yellowstone universe would be huge, but having over 10 million people see the show is mind blowing,” he said.
