TSE BONITO, N.M.

Tents, campers and folding chairs lined State Route 264 Friday evening as paradegoers settled in before the 78th Annual Navajo Nation Fair Parade in Window Rock.

Groups marked viewing spots with tape, chairs and shopping carts while families gathered beside vehicles and beneath canopies. Tents and campers were set up along the route for the night ahead of Saturday morning’s parade.

Vendors were already serving customers Friday night, including a mini doughnut stand along the highway as traffic moved through Tse Bonito.
