A freak accident last fall sidelined Cauy Betony for the early part of the 2025 rodeo season. The Tonalea, Ariz., cowboy broke his femur in October of last year during the Arizona State Fair Native American Rodeo in Phoenix, which suspended his rodeo profession for five months.

The rivalry between the Rezbombers and Young Gunz is starting to heat up. The two squads met in the championship game of the 2025 Road to NABI High School Basketball Tournament on Sunday afternoon at the Bee Hółdzil Fighting Scouts Events Center with the Rezbombers earning a hard fought 90-89 double overtime win.

Colorado Mesa University wrestler Lorianna Piestewa went 6-0 at the 2025 USA Women’s National Championships early this spring. Piestewa was crowned champion in the U20 57 kg weight class at the national tournament, which was held Apr. 4-6 in Spokane, Washington.
