The New Mexico softball playoffs resume on Thursday with three area teams earning wins.

Aztec and Kirtland Central traded zeros for seven innings Saturday afternoon before the Lady Tigers finally broke through in the eighth inning for a 1-0 victory in the opening round of the 2026 Nusenda Credit Union State Softball Championships.

The St. Michael softball team overcame a slew of errors in the third frame against the Desert Heights Prep Coyotes in the first round of the Arizona Interscholastic Association 1A playoffs on Friday evening.
