Crews bring power closer to Diné families

WINDOW ROCK

Utility crews from Arizona, New Mexico and New York recently connected six Diné homes to the electric grid and prepared 17 more homes for service under the Light Up Navajo and Naasgo’ initiatives.

The union crews were part of Electric Workers Without Borders North America and handled house wiring and meter loop installations required before homes can receive power.
