Three Navajo violinists from across the Navajo Nation will have the opportunity on March 16 to perform and be coached in a masterclass by Taiwanese-Australian violinist Ray Chen at the Center for Contemporary Arts.

Stephanie Johnson, Edgewater Clan, born for Biligáana/Chippewa, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting in December 2021 from Minnesota State University.

Jacquelyn Yepa, Diné/Jemez Pueblo, is the Institute of American Indian Arts’ 2022 student of the year, an award sponsored by the American Indian College Fund.

Diné College kicked off its strategic design sessions with a webinar two weeks ago. The college launched the process to chart a new path for the future, according to a college news release.

Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives has announced that $16,000 in scholarships were awarded to 16 students attending Navajo Preparatory School for the current academic year.
