Beginning in March, there have been more opportunities to hike with the pandemic and the restrictions we must all live with. Taking hikes in the country is perfect.

In 72 hours beginning on January 11, I fell three times. The first was while walking to the post office in Gallup. My left leg gave way and I fell onto some rocks. The next was walking beside a highway when I rolled onto the road.

Everything my dad did, I tried to model in my own way.  My affinity for running comes from him. He would wake me up before the sun and we would run together. He was a talented long distance runner, but I could never match his endurance.
