The Creator granted our wishes for the new year, 2022, and brought a blessing we should all be joyful about, which is another round of Hardship payments to the Navajo people.

The coronavirus eludes identification and capture. Relentless efforts by science have not found the origin or cause of the virus.

This letter is in response to your “Teesto family says death of loved one linked to vaccine” (Dec. 9, 2021).

Uranium mining stopped on the Navajo Nation in the 1980s but contaminated uranium waste from decades of mining continues to leak into groundwater supplies.

I thought of taking this opportunity to recognize and praise the work of two female delegates who I believe are performing an outstanding job on behalf of the Navajo Nation – Eugenia Charles-Newton and Amber Crotty. As always, my comments are short and to the point.
