I have questioned the Navajo tribal government’s use of “vetoes” and “overrides” in fiscal responses to the needs of the Navajo people. My concern is that there appears to be no other way known by our leaders and their numerous lawyers and Ph.Ds.

We at Diné CARE have been assisting the far-eastern Navajo communities of Counselor, Ojo Encino, and Torreon with their efforts to bring a clear and fair process for the people living in the Greater Chaco region.

There have been many times when President Trump has used harsh names to insult someone. One such insulting name is “Pocahontas.” Trump has used this racial slur to describe a female senator.

Marijuana/hemp should not even be considered to be legalized in the Navajo Nation. Evidence of its destructive effects are evident by what is happening in the Shiprock Agency.

The unlawful hemp cultivation in Shiprock has brought an onslaught of foreigners working in hemp greenhouses.
