Rezbombers coach Brian Kaye talks to his team during a time out in the Native American Junior Nationals 2026. The Rezbombers will be competing in Native American Basketball Invitational 2026 in Phoenix this week with the championship game scheduled for Saturday at Phoenix College.
The Arizona-based team has participated in a handful of high-profile tournaments over the summer and their best finish were a pair of second-place trophies.
“Our expectations never change,” Rezbombers coach Brian Kee said. “The girls are feeling very good about their chances to win this tournament. We’ve played in several tournaments, and we have yet to win a major tournament.
“We played earlier in Las Vegas, and we took second,” he added. “We went to Hawaii, and we lost the championship game there. We played in the Natty tournament, and we were in the Final Four there, so the girls have a little bit of a chip on their shoulders because we haven’t won a tournament this year.”
