In a zone: Crownpoint cowgirl Kadin Jodie wins multiple titles at 2026 Ceremonial

CHURCH ROCK, N.M.

Piggybacking off her Iron Cowgirl Challenge win last week, Crownpoint breakaway roper Kadin Jodie captured her third title at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial on Sunday afternoon.

Jodie completed her short round run in 3.41 seconds that helped her secure the aggregate title in 6.6 seconds with Kylie Dodson coming in a close second at 8.83.

“I felt pretty good coming into the short round,” Jodie said. “I went up to Fort Hall (Idaho) for an INFR rodeo and I was leading it, so that gave me confidence to win it here as well.”

The 21-year-old cowgirl ended up winning that rodeo in Idaho with a 2.37 run on her trusted mount, Grey.

Her previous wins at the annual Gallup rodeo includes titles in 2018 and 2024. She won her first crown when she was 13 years old.
