Diné College and Navajo Nation officials gathered on Monday for the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new $7.4 million math and science building that will be located at the Shiprock south campus.

The University of Arizona and Diné College have been awarded a $500,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to collaboratively train the next generation of Navajo water scientists.
