Ganado girls come up short in state title hunt

The Thatcher girl’s basketball team had a definite size advantage on Ganado with a few players listed near 6 feet.

It was a game that some thought both teams didn’t belong in.

In their final game of the regular season, the Farmington Scorpions and Gallup Lady Bengals solidified their No. 1 spots in New Mexico District 1-5A.
