In a razor-thin finish, Tohatchi senior Melvin Scott Jr. captured the Class 3A state title at the New Mexico state cross-country meet on Saturday.

The AIA Sectionals were held at Hidden Cove Golf Course in Holbrook on Tuesday where Division III and IV teams competed for state entries.

Division III sectionals were held alongside Division IV this Tuesday at Holbrook’s Hidden Cove Golf Course.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Boston Marathon, a famous race that attracts thousands of runners every year.

It was a good day for the Flagstaff High cross-country program.
