For two days the rain fell and blessed the riders who glided down the highways in honor of fallen police officers.

Residents of LeChee say their road, Navajo Route 20, known as Coppermine Road, has become “The Road” for tourists from all over the world.

According to a Tuesday afternoon statement from the Navajo Nation Police Department, the officer was seen by witnesses as being “visibly intoxicated” and “uncooperative.”
